The two can often be heard playing together as P.U.R.E., their hardcore rave and trance project. Opting for their solo monikers for this excursion lets us know they might have something else planned for this one, bringing their late-night digging bounty to the stream from 10pm – 12am.

Brooklyn live duo Julian Duron and Michael Sherburn present Volume 3 in a series of mixes featuring exclusively original material. They’ve added their own special twist to the mix to take us well beyond your typical DJ format. Join us for the tradition and be prepared for a wildly fun ride.

Following that, we’ve got a recording of Galcher Lustwerk live at Nowadays on MLK Day this past January. The beloved DJ, who just debuted his new alias 420 last week, took us on a 6 hour and 20 minute ride. This stream will culminate at precisely 4:20 am New York time on Tuesday morning ☻

Virtual Monday: Nowadays and Covid-19: What Now? What Next?

As we enter the sixth week of lockdown and the accompanying closures, we wanted to give our community an update on the status of Nowadays as a business. Co-owner and resident DJ Eamon Harkin will speak about our history, the financial structure of the business, government assist options for small businesses, our landlord negotiations, and thoughts on timescales for re-opening and what our scene might look like when we’re done.

Eamon will also be answering a few questions, which you can submit via the chat to the right of the video stream.
