Timmy Regisford’s music industry resume is impressive (he’s headed up A&R at Atlantic, Motown and Dreamworks), but in dance music circles he’s probably best known as one of the founders of NYC house music institution The Shelter, as well as a producer with releases on Tribe Records, West End and King Street. We’ll have him at the decks from start to finish for this one.
In the back yard, we have Carter Van Pelt. Carter is a New York–based selector, writer and radio host with a deep love of Jamaican popular music, and a record collection to match. He’s the founder of Coney Island Reggae on the Boardwalk and the former co-host of WKCR’s long-running Eastern Standard Time. He’ll be at the decks out back from 8pm on.
